Wade joined EVA in 2025 as an Energy Analyst, supporting the firm’s Power Practice through quantitative analysis and energy market modeling to inform client decision-making. He applies a strong foundation in analytical methods and systems modeling to deliver insights that help clients navigate complex challenges in the energy sector. Wade’s expertise in energy-related analysis was developed during his time as a graduate research assistant at the University of Virginia, where he led multi-year research projects, conducted integrated modeling of global energy systems, and published novel results in high-impact peer-reviewed journals. Prior to UVA, he was an Analyst at Newport News Shipbuilding, developing and analyzing key metrics to evaluate the submarine engineering department's performance against construction schedules and contract obligations. Wade holds a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master of Engineering in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from William & Mary. Outside of work, he enjoys playing basketball, watching movies, and volunteering in his community.
