Kareena, who joined EVA in 2023, serves as an energy analyst within the organization. Her primary focus revolves around emissions markets and environmental policy. Drawing from her academic background in energy and engineering, Kareena applies her research skills to explore emerging technologies and contribute to publications that delve into emission allowances and market forecasts. During her time pursuing a master's degree at Stanford, Kareena specialized in lifecycle assessments, with a particular emphasis on fossil fuels and emissions quantification. Her contributions include involvement in studies that center on carbon intensity estimations and upstream oil production modeling. Moreover, Kareena holds an additional master's degree and a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from IIT Madras, where her research was concentrated on the analysis of gas hydrate applications. In her free time Kareena enjoys reading, delving into different sketching styles, and experimenting with different recipes in the kitchen.
