Power Plant Tracking System (PPTS)
Energy Ventures Analysis tracks all power plants by state and NERC region and their state of development whether in construction, advanced development, early development, delayed, or cancelled. All available information is applied to rank the likelihood of each plant, or unit, being built. The report is published twice per year and includes data showing the impact of new generating capacity by state and region. The Power Plant Tracking System includes gas-fired, coal-fired, wind, nuclear, and projects of all ‘other’ fuel types, and the plant database is included with the report.
